MORE ABOUT DDE

ABOUT US

We noticed there was a lot of talent in LA but live theater events were, for the most part, lacking. After many nights of saying, “I wish there were more places like they have in New York,” we decided to do something about it. And that’s how Diamond Dog Entertainment was formed. But we didn’t want to be just another production company in Los Angeles. Our priority was to build a world where the audience felt included in the experience, whether that be on stage, in a film, or even a great event. Covid-19 has changed every aspect of all our lives, but has also forced us at DDE to be even more imaginative and yet, extremely practical at the same time. Having spent so many years being a part of the industry, we are excited to collaborate with like-minded creatives to bring in the next generation of entertainment.

TITANIQUE ON BROADWAY is here! All aboard!!

What do you say to taking chances on a bizarre new addition to Broadway?

Actually, scratch that — buying a ticket to Titanique isn't much of a risk when the celebrated spoof has spent nearly a decade enticing audiences with its cheeky camp. But it's still a tough sell to the uninitiated, given the insanity of the premise.

Anyone who's seen James Cameron's monumental tragedy, Titanic, knows how this story goes: Penniless heiress Rose DeWitt Bukater boards a doomed ship while engaged to rich a-hole Cal only to find herself falling for the freedom offered by the charming starving artist, Jack.

Except this time, Cal is a closeted diva scrambling to hide his Grindr alerts and Jack specializes in stick figure cat paintings. And the entire story is being told by omniscient narrator Celine Dion (portrayed by the inimitable Marla Mindelle) who inexplicably believes that she was aboard the Titanic when it set sail in… checks notes… 1912. Dion recounts the events as they occurred in the movie — but with a little more pizazz, a lot more absurdity, and a French- Canadian accent so hilariously bad that it loops around to being perfect.

If that sounds absolutely bonkers, then that just means you're catching on to the tone.

TITANÍQUE Sails Onto Broadway!

From a basement Off-Broadway to an international phenomenon, TITANÍQUE sails onto Broadway for its grandest voyage yet.

Winner of the Olivier Award for Best New Comedy, this global splash hit reimagines Jack and Rose’s timeless love story aboard the ship of dreams through the French-Canadian eyes of someone who was totally there: Céline Dion! (Not the real Céline — but she would approve.) The superstar singer remembers the doomed romance with more shocking twists, mega-diva antics, and face-melting vocals belting her favorite hit songs – and not even an iceberg can stop her.

Crazy times call for a kooky krazy musical extravaganza. With a story you’ll never let go, music you know by heart, and the Céline you need, you’d have to live at the bottom of the ocean to miss this strictly limited engagement.

Frankie Grande – Hotel Rock Bottom

Frankie Grande’s debut album Hotel Rock Bottom is a glitter-drenched, high-octane pop experience that puts his full personality and powerhouse vocals front and center. The album’s first single, “Rhythm of Love,” earned over 1 million streams in its first month, followed by the infectious “Boys,” which surpassed 600,000 streams. The title track, a show-stopping duet with his sister Ariana Grande, climbed to number six on Spotify’s Global Viral Chart. As Billboard put it: “Add in the singer’s truly wild vocal range, and you’ve got a pretty exciting new LP.”

Grande introduced Hotel Rock Bottom with performances on The Today Show and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and brought the album to life on main stages at WeHo Pride, World Pride DC, Boston Pride, Seattle Pride, NYC Pride, and London Pride. He was also featured on a Pandora billboard in Times Square. The deluxe edition of the album includes new collaborations with Big Freedia, Salina Estitties, and DETOX Music, in addition to the collaboration with Ariana Grande on the title track. With Hotel Rock Bottom, Frankie Grande delivers a pop era that’s theatrical, joyful, and entirely his own.
